SUBSonar v4 for the VST-DX wrapper... any feature requests

Greetings. If you use Sonar, and the Cakewalk VST-DX wrapper, then you may have used my little menu-reorganisation utility, SUBSonar. Im nearly finished writing a new version of this, pretty much from scratch, and I was wondering if anyone had any last-minute ideas they might find useful.
New features already implemented include:
*) Menu renaming for DX plugins as well as VSTs
*) Control over the ForceStereo setting for all VST plugins
*) Control over the TempoSync setting for all VST plugin effects (* TempoSync is only in v4.4.4 of the adaptor)
*) Control over enabling an effect plugin as a DXi (to allow tempo control with v4.4.2 of the adaptor)
*) VST plugin disabling
*) Control over GUI size for VST plugins
*) an 'ignore parent' folder option
*) able to work properly with v4.4.2 -and- v4.4.4 of the adaptor.
V4 will be GUI-based, with the possibility of loading/saving different configuration files, will allow control over default options which will be applied to all plugins, and should be able to import the .ssdat config file from SUBSonar v3.
If you've got anything you'd like to see added, please suggest it over the next couple of days and I'll consider it for implementation in v4 (or possibly v4.1)
Thanks

Its 20-40% better than any other host-specific menu reordering utility. What more do you want

that joke only gets 18-22% better everytime I hear it.
I think Cakewalk hired shea so that Sonar will always be on our minds.

Philly quoth Will it work for Project 5 v2 ???
Once I get P5 v2, I'll try and make sure it does.
The existing SUBSonar (v3) currently works with Project5 v1.5, so it shouldn't be an issue. But I will be testing it. But Im still waiting for my free upgrade from Edirol UK.

Thanks for doing this whyterabbyt as the menu system in sonar is probabbly my only bugbear with Sonar.
However, it does beg the question as to why Sonar cannot implement this system. Maybe you could sell them the code so it comes in future updates to Sonar

Hehehe. Although to be honest, I dont know offhand of another host where you can get access to change the menu structure...
My code is in Perl, Im afraid, so it would be a bit clunky to amalgamate into Sonar.

Hi whyterabbyt,
Is there anyway you can get subSonar to display EnergyXT's resizeable main window correctly? Thats my only really peeve with the current wrapper. The Fruity and Abelton wrappers are handling Ext fine, but I can't get Cake to address this one.
I'm looking forward to trying this out, looks like you're adding some really nice features there.
nuts

Hmmm, dont know. It will allow you to set a maximum size for the GUI, but it has no way at all of knowing if you've shrunk a resizeable plugin afterwards...
If I knew where EnergyXT stored its GUI size, it might be possible to hack something (different from SUBSonar) which kept track of the last size and updated the VST-DX entries accordingly, but it would probably need to run as a service, and has other complexity implications.
A better option might be to inform Jorgen of the VST-DX wrapper settings he'd should tweak on a resize.
