Big fan (and owner) of your plug-ins. Perhaps a bit of an off beat request of your audio engineering software skills.

How about a Classic Dither plug???

The only free dither VST out there worth of note is the good old mda dither.

Of course a full fledge Golden Dither would be great as well.

So how about it?

There are many ways of making dither. The simplest way is to add white noise to the signal. If you want to use one of the acknowledged dithering algorithms you will have to pay royalty to the vendor so that can never be implemented in a free plugin.

golden distortion/overdrive please - there already lots of
average sounding distortions out - i think we need something better - maybe it shouldn't be an normal distortion - something more complex - like the sherman filterbank would be damn cool

R8brain does an excellent job, btw. It's not a VST, but that doesn't bother me because I always trim the final result via an external editor (Audacity, natch) anyway, so another step isn't that big of a deal to me.

I think that a classic mastering suite would be cool as well. stereo imagers, bass enhancers, warmers, tape/tube saturaters.

I also want a phaser that sounds as good as GMO-1..

Yeah, I've been jonesin' for a Classic Tube or Fuzz or the like for ages now. There are approximately ten bazillion decent freeware tube/overdrive plugs, but only a handful of truly great ones -- and there really should be a Kjaerhus plugin in that list. If nothing else, wouldn't it be cool to use only their plugs for entire songs?
