The world's greatest rhythm section

KVR folks:

In a moment of sheer lunacy/inspiration, I realized that a bass line from Carol Kaye's website would match up with a John Bonham drum outtake from a Zeppelin session and that I'd already downloaded both of them. Since my two choices this afternoon were lay cement in the hot sun or mess around in the studio, a little tweaking and looping later we have:

This is a link to an Mp3 of a four bar loop I put together using part of Carol's bass line from Joe Cocker's "Feelin' Alright" and Bonham's drums from a Zep tune whose name escapes me at the moment. I'm going to leave it on my website for awhile for anyone who might be curious what these two giants would have sounded like playing together.

Hmmmmm...I've still got some more of those Bonham outtakes and just got that James Jamerson archive that someone posted on KVR about the other day...
