What do you think of the blue tubes compared to other plugins? I'm deciding on buying them, if there isn't anything even better in a similar price range. In my opinion the compressors sound even smother than PSP Vintage Warmer, which I think is great too. How are these compared to Waves?

I like just about anything from kjaerhus audio better and it's priced much lower,I also like the free Blockfish compressor better than anything Bluetubes makes.

In my opinion the compressors sound even smother than PSP Vintage Warmer

I never thought of hard limiting as sounding smooth.

How are these compared to Waves?

Much worse in my opinion,but I'm not a big fan of Waves either(sans the Lin EQ/IR-1/Restoration Bundle).

Maybe if you had some assemblance of a sense of humor you wouldn't be prompted to make silly assumtions of people you dont know.Anyway,relax and don't take anything personally.
