Cubase Device Map???

I saw a post on another forum where someone was looking for a Cubase device map for the Motif ES. They already had a patch script, and wanted a device map.

Can someone tell me what a Cubase device map is? Why is it needed if you have a patch script already?

And also, where can I get a device map for my Triton Rack and Fantom XR?

Device Maps put a VSTi looking GUI for controlling and automating your external synth in several places inside SX. You have to hand make them. I suggest googling for triton Cubase device map.

Also, the doc is terrible, but it shows you what it looks like and how it works.
