Does Seger live on Cedar Island Lake road? I drove past there once. :P :P :P Oh, and Kid Rock bummed a smoke from me in '89, and my brother-in-law hunts with Nugent in Jackson, and I once saw Kim Mathers at the Shelter.....

ahh Detroit -- we make the best (and the worst) music.

SecondSkin,

Yeah - you are definitely from Michigan!!! I don't know whether Seger lives out there or not, that was the rumor that the kids in Commerce Township, where I grew up, always talked about.

My sister now lives in Spring Arbor Michigan (outside of Jackson about 10 minutes)and they all have their Nugent hunting stories. Now I live in Clarkston, and the Kid Rock / Pam Anderson stories abound. Kid Rock did fund the local kiddie spraypark/waterpark that went in last summer. This was in the local paper for a couple of weeks (okay, so they only publish once per week) with Kid Rock handing over the check. I think it was something like $50,000 that he paid into the park.

I remember once when I was getting my teeth cleaned at the dentist, the hygenist was talking that she saw Pam Anderson at Bueche's Food World in Ortonville, without makeup, and that she looked terrible, blah blah blah. As if the hygenist could talk about this!!

So, where exactly do you hail from on the mitten?

Problem is Limp Bizkit is still around getting airplay - it's hard to forget them even if you don't like them.

Over on the Fender forum, people are griping there in recent times cuz the guitarist has a signature strat.

But that would imply that I listen to the radio or watch Mtv :hihi:

kinda like the tom delonge or mark hoppus signature stuff. I often wonder why some of these peoples guitars have 6 strings on them when they are just playing power chords on E and A...

I grew up Downriver, now live in Waterford. We own a driving school on M-59.

Yeah, everyone says she looks horrible in person. OTOH, back when Sergei Federov was still in town, everone said Anna Kornakova actually looked better in person. :D
