thanks for the nice words.:)
a note on the price, though:
i think, most of you didn`t realize that the licence one buys is for all three versions.
so you pay once, and have the possibility to use it as vst pc, vst mac osx, and mac au (wich will come soon, too).
just wanted to drop that here again, as this hasn`t been clear for all.
Not really. I mean, technically you are getting three versions, but I know that personally, I will only use the VST PC. I doubt many people would use all 3, or even 2.

well, this might not affect you (allthough there might come a day when it would).
but think about the hassle if you have 2 different machines (mac and pc)for different uses, or i.e. a lot of musicians rent a bigger studio (in order to finish the song there) that has another machine than they do.
they can easily take this reverb to that studio and work with it, within their song they did.
also, later on, some users might have the need to switch from pc to mac or vice versa. they don`t have to buy that plugin for the new platform then.
also (this belongs to the au version), some users have different hosts which one of them might only work flawless with au (i.e. logic) or vst (cubase sx).
they don`t have to worry. they don`t have to purchase that plugin twice for different hosts then etc, etc.

That's a very good point. I choose to work with PC's, but a lot of pro studios run Macs. That's very generous Nick - I hope nobody takes advantage of that generosity (in other words, don't leave installed versions on somebody elses computer who hasn't bought a copy). There are so many big companies who would force you to buy a second licensce to run on a Mac.

I will buy this in July when I get extra money. Promised.

I bought it last night. I don't know from realistic reverb, and I'm not looking for that. But this just sounds much better to me than anything else I have (only the free ones at this point). I also have a uad card with their plate 140 reverb coming...that should be nice also.

Then again - I had a Kurzweil ksp 8, and frankly, I prefer the sound of the Arts Acoustic. So probably everything I say should be discounted.

Now - if they would just send me the stupid key so I can authorize the software and save the patches!

Nuts. My long post just got lost. Anyhow. Demo'd for an hour, bought it. Really impressive on the ambience stuff, which is what I want. I have nothing on my powercore or uad, or in the convolution plugs, that can do the ambience reverbs as easily and flexibly as this one. $200 is a lot of money, but it's much cheaper than any of the other options (hardware and software) that I've been considering. Nice work AA. Honeymoon review to follow . . .

Oh, and, fwiw, my license arrived about 6 minutes after my order. Thanks.

Thanks, bobby, for the info. I just asked Nick the "how long does it take" question this morning within the Arts Acoustic forum here at KVR. That's good news!

I bought mine early today and cannot wait to put this reverb to work!!!
I have all of the free verbs, SIR, Pristine light and PSP Easy Verb...although each has their good the Arts Acoustic reverb is the best sounding one that I have with so many tweakable parameters. Now I just have to learn to mix better...lol...Thanks for developing this awesome reverb!!!

It's definately the breakthrough in software reverb I was waiting for. No need to feel inferior for not owning a hardware reverb. I'm looking forward to shocking some engineers I know who have a lot invested in their hardware! I've been listening closely to my favorite impulses, just to be sure that I don't really need them anymore. I would have to say that it's not always possible to exactly clone another reverb sound, but you can get so close it really doesn't matter. And for small, tranparent rooms and ambiance, I haven't found anything better. This is a reverb that can by applied to anything and make it sound better. I can't say that about any other plugin reverb I have.

Just to add my appreciation here too... having read all the posts, and listened to the mp3s, and downloaded the demo, I've now done the only thing remaining, which was to eat the pie/ sorry, I mean buy the reverb!:-)
Excellent indeed (and great customer service too.. I had a slight "online" problem with my order, which they sorted out for me in no time at all! :-) )
I did get a life,once...but it was faulty, so I sent it back.
