Heizenbox skillz?

I have been messing with Heizenbox, and I think I'm missing something. I can't figure out how to get it to move around inside the buffer and do weird stuff (such as those efx featured in the HBox demos).
What's the best way to rock the HBox? A tutorial would be invaluable.
Thanks.

Hi Willum,
This is how I made the efx for the Heizenbox demos:
1) Put Heizenbox as a master effect.
2) Enable Touch Rec (This will turn on recording when you turn Length, Offset or Wet/Dry).
3) Start your beat
4) Twist the Length or Offset knob and the mayhem will begin.
5) For some spice.. add a bit but not to much of the other 41 parameters
I will try to make a tutorial and put it on the website. I will keep you posted.

Hampa,
I would love if Touch Record would turn on when you move midi controllers!
Also, as a future project, something like Supa Trigga, but with a step sequencer would be lots of fun, switching sequences for realtime resequencing of your audio!
Supa Trigga is fun, but can only be random!

If you want to use it with a MIDI keyboard you can start and stop recording by hitting a key.
Touch Rec with MIDI controllers would be cool.. I'll try and add it
If you have a host that can send MIDI note-on to effects (like Fruityloops) you can do some cool stuff aswell.
cheers

I've played with it quite a bit, and I'll try it again, but I never really got anything good out of Lucifer..

Staying away from the occult is good advice in most cases.

Theres a lot of guys using it live/albums/TV... maybe read the manual and I'd be happy to explain anything (it can do a lot).kodama wrote:I've played with it quite a bit, and I'll try it again, but I never really got anything good out of Lucifer..

heizenbox is pure phun! a very mangler and a great addOn if you love stuff like awesome buffersynth, bufferoverride and the glitchy reaktor-ensembles. some sort of a stepsequencer like the way flitchsplifter works would be a great enhancement for v.3, that's really a pretty nice suggestion. hampa also keeps contact, informs about news and has a strict and quick update-philosophy, replies very quickly on every question and takes reported bugs as well as ideas very serious. everyone into idm, electronica, clicks&cuts and glitches should mark is at a 'must' even it replaces for very little money a huge amount of reaktor4-ensembles and with a bit of training you can even get quite similar results to fastFx.ens
hampa has done a pretty good job so far! shoutz!

I concur. Heizenbox is super cool! One thing I still can't figure out is how to control the movement through the buffer. Which controls relate to that? Please help me to understand.
