Hi Willum,

To move through the recorded buffer you use the Offset knob (a +1ms offset will move the start point 1ms forward).

The Lock button tries to keep Offset and Length relative to each other so that the tempo is preserved.

The buttons Jump Forward/Backwards can also be used to jump one loop length forward or backwards.

Hope that helped a bit :)

cheers

Hampa, HBox is mucho fun!

The only other things I could think of adding besides my earlier request is an option to play the pitch via midi notes as well as the record (It might be cool, but I'm sure people would also like the option to turn the midi note to pitch off!), and more modulation in the form of step sequencers, etc..

I think it's awesome your plug takes so little cpu, I know when people are saying that they usually use Reaktor for this, it takes several times more CPU power!

Not to mention $$$

Really!? Lucifer does some crazy ass stuff... I think it's an incredible mangling plug.

As to HBox, I'm getting some cool results but I don't really know what I'm doing yet, just twiddling. I'm not crazy about the chunky cartoon 3-D UI though, find the shadows a bit over-powering and I think it could use a wee bit of colour.

Anyhow, interesting plug, I'll continue to explore.

The gui reminds me of the OhmForce site.

I could see it being nice in some more color varieties though...

colors would destroy the whole point of it imo.

Hi Willum,

I made a demo track in FruityLoops that you can download.

It demonstrates the basics (automation of only 3 parameters, Length, Offset and Record).

mp3 version:

The FL files (FL 3.4):

Wow, thanks Hampa! I'll load it up as soon as I get home. Then again, maybe I should just install some music software here at work! :D
