How do I route MIDI input to two MIDI tracks simultaneously in VST 5? I understand that in SX you enable Monitoring on both MIDI tracks. How would I do this VST 5?
Thanks

In the Inspector there is a small arrow at the top next to the words track info .
Press that and in the drop down at the top select add out.
The name field of the the instepector will show +trackname.
Set the output in the usual fields in the Inspector.

If you want specifically to have two tracks (rather than two outputs on one track) then select multirecord- layer from the options menu, then multirecord -active to activate it.
In the columns right of the inspector a new one appears labelled R. Press on that column for each track that you wish to record on. A speaker icon indcates that the track input is enabled.
Bas.

Hey Bas-
Thanks! That was what I needed- to have two tracks rather than two outputs on one track. I installed the demo of Jamstix and was having a difficult time getting it to work in VST 5. I tried the Jamstix forum, but Zauni couldn't help. Is anyone still using Cubase VST 5? I've got it sorted now.
Thanks
