where can i find the free version of tracktion 1?

....or did i get it wrong. Tracktion was made free, wasn't it. (but all i can find on the mackie site is a demo of it. Is it that one with the limitations removed?

The version of T1 is identical to what was/is available.
There was a license you could obtain for free, but that offer was last December and only lasted for one month.

You've missed the boat I'm afraid. Tracktion was only free for a limited time last year.. now you have to buy T2 in a box (no download versions anymore)

And to Kim, what kind of host are you looking for? Does it need audio tracks, does it need a MIDI sequencer, etc?

Well my host is Logic pro on a mac. Just wanted to turn my pc into an extra synth.
