Squids, a few of my buds over in the Cakewalk forums were having trouble understanding how to use multi channel instances of Sampletank, in Sonar and I've been writing some Sonar templets to help them get started. I posted one for Sampletank LE over on The Auditorium.

I was wondering if you would have some space somewhere to host them in SR or Esoundz. I intend to do one for Sampletank 2 full engine and Sonik Synth 2 for Sonar also.
I also want to do three templets for multi lane instances in Project 5. (one for SS2, ST LE, and ST full version) These templets will allow people to load an instance of the synth, and have 8 audio tracks with 8 corresponding MIDI tracks, all set to assign their voices from their library. I'm not including any sounds, but rather the track assignments to get them started. If you have a place to host them, please let me know. They also include a little tutorial in the info file.

This would be very useful (I saw the post in the P5 forum).
In P5 version 1 I didn't really go into setting up different midi tracks in just one instance but now that 2 is here I'd certainly like to see how it's done.
Have ST2 (full).

Dave, I posted a 4 lane Sampletank 2 full version set up for Project 5 on The Auditorium, also. It's marked pretty well on my thread there. For now, you'll just have to register with Auditorium to get it, but that's free, so shouldn't be a big deal. I have a session this evening, but I should have some time later tonight to do the Sonik Synth 2 and Sampletank LE files then
.
The whole key to using IK/SR stuff in Project 5 ver 2, is understanding how the multi-lane feature works. I finally got my head around it, and it works great! These are just intended to be little set ups to get people started. It doesn't really take that long to set them up, once you get it.
All you need to do is unpack and load the templet, assign your favorite sounds in Sampletank and go to town. To add more lanes, just right click on your Sampletank track, and select "create layer", then set the MIDI send channel on the new layer to the desired channel, and assign another voice in Sampletank on that channel.

NP Squids. I was able to get the Sonik Synth 2 and Sampletank XL and L templets for Sonar up. I ran into a slight complication in the Project 5 templets. I'll get those up soon!
I'm starting to sound like Squids, hey???
