It is sadly true that many teachers have no skill whatever at inciting curiosity.

I sometimes wondered if some professors actually want people to drop out (gives 'em more time for naps).

It does seem to be the case with some teachers. I learned all my GCSE english stuff from text books and kids in the other classes in my year.

History and physics on the other hand - great teachers

the organism/spirit/animal/animus knows what to be interested in.

that kind of thinking is the most heinous robot thought ever.. "we're all just different examples of the same unit, don't you know that's what christian american equality means??"

someone ones told me music changed his mood
he didn`t want to give something such a powerfull role
so he quit listening to music.

I can understand people who only listen to classical music - even people who think that anything after Bach is hopelessly debased. On the other hand, I get very annoyed by people who 'only like house' or 'only like indie' or 'hate rap' or otherwise genre-bash within popular music. I guess this is probably inconsistent on my part, though...
