A question for Orion users

i've downloaded the orion platinum demo.
Am i right to think that Orion is completly pattern based? Actually I didn't find a way to have a complete midi-track for a whole song (a melody track for example).

Or did I miss something ?

you're right, it is pattern based, but you can set the pattern length to be just about as long as you'd like.

That's what I do.. the pattern length box only shows 3 digits, but you can set it to (at least) 9999 (which is longer than even I would need and I do long, flowy, spacey tunes sometimes).

It takes a bit of thinking about, but typically I make the pattern huge and trim it back when I'm done recording. It works well enough for my purposes.

Now if only the audio track handling was slightly better...
