Do anybody knows a plugin, that can display the song as a bitmap?
e.g.
Equalizer amplitudes along a timeline...

I mean more like a spectralview but where you can better recognize the basedrum or the hihat (little dots?)

On Linux, there is Baudline, but it's not a VST. Probably there should be a Windows/Mac equivalent?

Thats beyond current software abilities and into the realms of A.I Even us humans have trouble working out how a sound is made sometimes. FFT gives you a lot of info but its not easy to digest.

I think Voxengo SPAN (free VST) or Inspector would suit you Ground Control.
