Has anyone tried the Analog BASStard Instruments demo patches in Kontakt 2? Doesn´t seem to be working. :(

Post

Hm, DMuzik... the first patch somewhat loaded, but when I tried to edit it, Kontakt 2 crashed. Very weird.

Weird, it only crashes the standalone version...

Yes, the patches seem to load alright, but I don´t get any sound. And when I press the little wrench K2 krasches.

Post

Aha, haven´t tried the vst yet. Do you get any sound out of it?

Post

Same results here - editing makes them crash in standalone.
In VST it's ok, but some of them don't produce any sound as the envelope settings seem to be translated very bad (there's some with all values set to 0, which doesn't make sense), so there's quite some editing involved, probably.
Others than that, the source samples seem to be of fine quality.

Damn, here it crashes in SX3 as well. :(

Post

I only tried in Logic/PC.
I could load them and save them as K2 patches (with all the offensive envelopes removed), then upload the patches only. Want me to do that?

Sure, that would be great. :)

Btw, doesn't crash SX 3 over here.

Strange, I´ll try reinstalling K2.

Post

Did you reboot after the standalone crash?

Reinstalled, rebooted... and now it´s not crashing. :)
