The Swedish entry flopped as expected - a retro Las Vegas show tune, what were they thinking!?
Everyone knows the Swedish song has to be an ABBA rip-off, sheesh!
Luckily we had a second entry (Helena Paparizou singing for Greece is from Sweden) so I guess we did OK.

Indeed. The bottom 4 countries were the UK, Spain, Germany & France, who are the main financiers of Eurovision, and maybe there was a hint of a protest vote against the war in Iraq. Most of Europe just hates France anywayceenda wrote:Should be called the "Eurovision Popularity Contest" ...
