I'm doing a project right now with Muzys that involves exporting a lot of loops to AIFF files. Muzys is really handy with this, but there are some "Mix to file" options it presents that I'm curious about.
I've already figured out that I should not export to 32-bit floating point files. They're just too big, and believe it or not the ProTools setup that I'm creating for can't handle them!
But what about the interpolation type. Muzys defaults to cubic hermite interpolation, but is there any particular benefit to using this technique? Is there any benefit to using no interpolation? What have you all experienced?

Indeed, when exporting as 32 bit, the AIFF files are 32 bit AIFF files, and i think Protools only handles 24 bit AIFF filesI've already figured out that I should not export to 32-bit floating point files. Try playing a wave by 2 octaves down or more,
and listen to the difference between No - Linear - and Cubic interpolation.
The interpolation type does not affect your AIFF files themselves, but defines the way how your waves are processed before they're stored in the AIFF file.

I think the interpolation only applies when Muzys has to change the sample rate. When saved-as sample rate is the same as the old one, it should not make any difference.
