I've been demoing Arts Acoustic's new reverb and I find it absolutely stunning, as most people do.

I'd love to buy it, but since I have a couple of reverbs already and really shouldn't afford it, I'd like to hear people's opinion on which one of these they favour, and how Arts Accoustic's reverb would be ranked.
I have to say, having Reaktor 4's Space Master is probably adequate for my use - it's downright fantastic, and especially the third-party Ultimate reverb ensemble has some presets which can provide yourself with hours of fun (fire up the preset "Coming up from Hell" and use your favourite guitar w/fuzz and you know what I mean), but nevertheless I find AA's reverb more usable than anything I have.

So, in a perfect world, what would the ranking of these be:

1: Arts Acoustic Reverb
2: Pristine Space (full)
3: Reaktor 4 Space Master/Ultimate reverb
4: Glaceverb

Edit: I think it's worth mentioning that Pristine Space sounds absolutely wonderful, but I find the impulses at Noisevault great with The Grand and VSTi's, but sounding downright lousy when I play my guitars thru it. Maybe it's my choice of impulses - I don't know, but I don't like the sound

I've only used the Reaktor verb from the ones you'ved mentioned as I'm pretty sorted for verbs with my UAD-1, Creamware card, Reaktor and freebies like SIR.

However, as you mentioned Space Master, did you know that the Reaktor 5 has a new premium library with it and one of the ensembles is Space Master 2 :D

I haven't heard it (so it might be shit, might be amazing) but if you were going to upgrade then it might be worth hanging on until you have checked it out.

Space Master is really a great reverb. It's a real cpu hog on my machine, tho -- more than the convolution reverbs even -- so I tend to steer clear of it. I'm using the AAR, and I still use some convolution in almost every mix for something or other. If I had Reaktor on a 2nd machine, I'd use Space Master plenty.
Grist for the glamour mill.

Glaceverb is excellent - the best freeware reverb in my opinion. But, it's hard to understand and program, it basically has one flavour, and it's very limited (no small rooms). If you are going to include Glaceverb in your list, then you should include all the other freebies. SIR gives nearly identical results to Pristine space - if you need more channels, run more instances. The thing I like about AAR is that you have 7 basic flavours, and the most flexibility i've seen. The sound quality is better or as good as most expensive plugins or hardware - so it truely can be the only reverb you need. Reverbs are so unique, that it's not possible to exactly clone another reverbs sound - but that usually isn't necessary, you just need to be able to dial up a reverb that works for your mix. Convolution is great for essentially cloning the exact sound (or a static sample of the same), at the expense of flexibility.

I love Glaceverb and use it all the time especially on piano's , its funny as i own a TC powercore yet i always go to Glaceverb first. OK technically the powercore reverbs are supposed to be better its just that my ears prefer Glaceverb just sounds so sweet.
ive just ordered a UDA-1 so im looking forward to using the plate 140.

Don't know if you've given it a try but you might consider ariesverb. easy on CPU and free:

admittedly - I've not run vocal or guitar thru it, but it is quite nice on synths
