This is starting to scare me. For a while it was just all "wtf?"
But now it's way beyond that.
William, please, calm down. Please.

So who owns the film adaptation rights to this little drama unfolding before our eyes?
Better than watching the soaps, and its all free!
Oh, and obviously I realize that Waldorf was worth more than $12,000...

I think the lesson to be learned here is that its one thing to be a skilled individual in any particular area of expertise (and no-one can deny william that) but its another to be a businessman. This is perhaps why so few new businesses make it, lack of real business skills.
Good luck william, and i mean that sincerely, you're a talented developer but with your present attitude you're gonna need all the luck you can get if you ever want to run your own business successfully.

I've thought about this since i've been away the last 24 hours. I was thinking of investing some money into a share of the company but looking at all the shit that's going on and that Wusikstation isn't the greatest vst on earth I really feel ( after some of WK comments I have seen) that we should basically just let Wusik die and get a converter done for WusikSND files.
Perhaps instead of giving WK money for a failed business why not we help out the poor sods who have lost money
This is my final say on this matter - f**k it

He most likely made enough money. But probably spent too much as well. That's the way it goes sometimes. Been there, done thatsonicfire wrote:i dont understand all this shit - i thought wk had a fine running business with wusik?

Yes and no. Ruining the price with all the group buys... but other than that, a great product and a great concept, especially collaborating with BITR, NAS, Manytone, etc. That was a very good business strategy... The pricing... not really... too much Gates-alike, but it's 2005 now and not 1980 anymore...sonicfire wrote:i dont understand all this shit - i thought wk had a fine running business with wusik?

Hmmm, it just seems ever so slightly.....WilliamK wrote:Guys, sorry to burst in, but I got some company emails wishing to purchase the code. The first one to pay the $1000 fee, gets to seal the deal. I will give 4 days to pay $5500 and another 4 days to pay another $5500. Hope that's a good term. As I see a lot of people that want to buy it, and I want to make it as fair possible. Email me to get the payment code: williamk@wusik.com
Wk

I'll buy it off you, but you'll have to lend me £1000 up front first so I can gain access to my uncle's money that is being withheld by a Nigerian bank.

What a smartass we have here.Note: There are 93 users that PreOrdered the V1.2.0/V2.0.0 of Wusikstation plus 9 WusikMOD PreOrders. The new company owner would have to deal with that, OR give me an extra $2800 USD so I can refund/payback those.
Initially, the company was worth $12000
In a couple of days, there are 93 preorders, which amounts to about $2800. The ordered product doesn't even exist yet.
And now the company is worth $14800? What makes it worth more? You didn't add any new products or assets.
WK, the preorder money was given to YOU, so it is YOU who has to pay it back. Otherwise you have just stolen $2800 from people here.
You can't be such a good coder if you can't even add and substract.
And no, global arrays are never required for optimizing. You should always declare pointers and allocate memory properly. What's so hard about that?

Maybe some kind of debt so the bank automatically take the money that WK receives. So it's irreversible.
Anyway, still not a good reason. Then William K should sell the company for $12000 and then code V2 and give it for free to the 93 preorders and then give or maybe sell the w2 sourcecode for a little extra to the new company owners or just make it open source.

If it were possible to resusitate this thing, of which I am skeptical, the debt would have to be actually deducted from the buying price up front, or William would have to deliver the work for which he has been paid selling the finished 2.0 code for the full $12,000 and let new management assume responsibility for delivery.Seus Hawkins wrote:Maybe some kind of debt so the bank automatically take the money that WK receives.
