I use the 5 band.

I'm really impressed at how transparent this thing is, even with generous boosts.

I think it blows every other freeware EQ out of the pond.

I don't have a good spendware EQ yet because i'm waiting for AngelTone to come out, but this one will do in a pinch. Wish it had numbers, but the colors are pretty. :D

Anyone else use it?

All the time. The one I turn to most often. I use the 3-band mostly, and like having no numbers.

Make sure you donate something to Magnus, encourage him to make more plugins.

I would like to see some numbers... But i love it.
Im curious why you wouldn't want numbers... Maybe you would rather mix by ear?
The following statement is true.
The previous statement is false.

I'd like #'s, if for no other reason than to reproduce settings I've worked out on other EQ's more easily, also to react to a spectrum analyzer that may not have the exact same scale.

I do generally prefer to mix by ear, but I find the NyquistEQ interface very intuitive to use and rather soothing in its simplicity. It's so easy to move things around in the GUI that you can simply sweep through a fine band to get at whatever frequency you're after quickly. I think numbers would just clutter the interface up. That's probably why I still prefer the 3-band.

Yeah, this was me first relatively serious eq even with its being donationware. And also, since I use LIVE, I can actually get numbers from extending the plug-in in LIVE. But I do like to mix by ear with this one. In fact, I generally don't use numbers except for quick reference. Then I try to ignore them as much as possible.

But yeah, actually maybe I haven't been using this enough lately?...

yeah.....this one just got underskin last week. its very see-thru

Theres a pic somewhere with the scale on it, I'll dig it out later.

Excellent EQ though, and I've only been using it for a week

Its the first eq I reach for - usually 3 band unless I'm mastering. I tend to go by my ears too.

I very much need a new soundcard though.. mine clicks and stops when I've got a few of these, some synths and reason rewired into acid.... You should hear it on 96HZ!

My fav eq.

The only EQ I need. Must donate some money when I'm not skint.
