I don't know how widely read Music Thing is around here, but if you are interested in corporate sound design, they've got a great series of articles up right now called "Tiny Music Makers."

So far, they've covered the Intel sound, the Windows 95 sound and the THX sound. Well worth reading if you're into that sort of thing.

Interesting site... nice article on one of my favourite Norwegian electroacousticians, Tore Honore Boe (of the Origami Republika/Replika) and his homemade 'laptops' as well.
