Hi folks,I would realy appreciate any advice any of you could give me regarding the following....
I am a pc user of sx 1.06.I plan on recording vocals at a friendly local studio which is mac/logic based and they have given me permission to install my cubase on either their g4 or g5 and bring my dongle with me every time i use the room(i will be acting as my own engineer.)
I will be creating a fresh project as a dedicated vocal session and tracking along to a mixdown of the music.
Are there any issues with 1.06 on a g5 os x?
Will the mac created cubase project work in my p.c. if i burn it as a hybrid cd or are there any other steps i must take or another way to do it?
Can you forsee any other problems i may have?
Any comments will be valued.
Thanks a lot,
Funk

I,m going to try to do a test but because of my schedule and the studio,s it may not be poosible.
I ,d just like to know of any specific problems anyone has had with this and potential damage control tactics.

The software is compatible.I have both Mac and pc discs which came with the software.
As far as i know the basic projects are also compatible as they have their own proprietory file ext., just like the way both mac and pc can read a .nki or .fxp file(ie. a kontakt or halion instrument)
However i do expect their to be some issues which need to be taken into account hence it is specific experience with these that i am enquiring about.
Thanks for your advice though
