I have some VSTi's that aren't showing up in the list of instruments. Any tips?

Nope, not at all.philipc68 wrote:Are they showing up as effects? Sometimes you need to manually tick the "register as DXi" box in the VST wrapper.
They appear in FL, but not Sonar.

Which Vst /Dxi wrapper are you using?

The one that comes with sonar, I don't believe it has any options on it.Stairsteps wrote:Which Vst /Dxi wrapper are you using?
I go to load DXi and the list pops up with most but not all. Is there a way I can update or scan for?

Two things to check:
1. Make sure that you're using the latest Wrapper version, I know some updates have been released for it. Check the Cakewalk web site for these.
2. Using the Cakewalk VST Wrapper, you need to specify which directories the wrapper should scan for VST's. Make sure all directories containing VST's are selected.

How do I find access to the wrapper?

It's an external program, should be listed in the Cakewalk subfolder of your start menu. Some of your VSTs probably had installers, and they put them somewhere other than your default directory (as Cake's VST adapter sees it)mr.me wrote:Very helpful.hybrid3 wrote:Two things to check:
