This keeps bothering me so I have to ask here in this thread, though a bit off subject. When you hear the "synthy" drums, and you can tell they aren't acoustic. You mostly hear them in like hip hop or electronica. Is this all done with a filter? filtering drums? or with a combination of a few synths with the drum sounds layered and then filtered somehow? Anybody? I know someone has to know. I was messing with Volcano last night tryna make some drums sounds. Sorry to hi jack the thread.
