Probably very much a beginners question, but does anyone know if its possible to use Audios in Cubase SX? I have a Saxlab AU, and at the moment can only figure out how to run it through Garageband. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

you can't use audiounits in cubase.
but on the saxlab cd/dvd(?) there should be also the vst version. why don't you just install this?

OK, thanks for prompt replies . . . I do have the VST aswell I just realised (sorry), but theres a few other things which I only have the AU for. I'm not even entirely sure what the difference, other than format, is between them . . . no doubt be way over my head anyway. I'll check this Bidule out, thanks dreammaka

@broadside: AU and VST are just two different ways of doing the same thing. One of the main things that's appealing about AU is it is integrated into the OS directly so it should work consistently across products, whereas VST has to be (re)implemented separately for each app. Steinberg of course invented VST so the chances of them dropping it and embracing AU are pretty slim!
