Hate to ask something so blatant...if I'm not a loop user can I still find anything worthwhile here? I tend to compose from scratch and have formal training in theory, etc.

I also have college under my belt; it helps with programming if you know music and synthesis theory. Use this knowledge and you can change these loops (which were built from scratch) to anything you want! Remember, these are not samples. These were programmed using multi-stage envelopes.

Using loops can provide inspiration and take you to a place unexpected. It's akin to working with another musician; just one you've never met.
