I wrote him too, and I got the reply that he can hardly keep up with the inquiries. Don't forget that Thursday was a holiday in most parts of Germany so he won't probably be working again before Monday.

If only I would be so lucky... ;-)

Version 1.01 is MUCH better again, and the preview mode (kDiracLambdaPreview and kDiracQualityPreview) ist faster than realtime on my G5 when translated with Xcode 2...

Gerd would you update your command line app for the PC or does exchanging the .dll the trick?

Merci,

Hello guys,
I've looked at the whole thread, because I am very interested in this topic.

Is here anybody who could be interested in testing a realtime ten tracks timestretching and pitch shifting VST plugin?

(www.sknote.it -> "Traks")

Let me know if interested, I have a demo with drum loops ready to download...

I would be very interested in sound quality comments...
Thanks :)

That's actually a development forum.
Do advertizing anywhere else.

Sorry jackle&hide.

I'm sure I've misunderstood the maining of this thread.
I started reading about somebody asking for somebody else using a timestretching and pitch-shifting algo in a vst. And this is what I'm doing.

So I answered: "I'm doing it, would you test it?"

Is this advertising? This was far from advertising. Some people here was discussing about algo results and use of these in vsts, so I would have been happy if somebody (somebody involved in development, NOT a user) could say how it sounds.

Sorry, bye.

There is an heavy antagonism inside your post. You claim to made an accident but your original statement was:
I've looked at the whole thread, because I am very interested in this topic...
So you cannot say, that it was an accident, if you looked at the whole thread, right?

We have neither any informations about the used technology nor even a snippet of the source code available.
We don't even know whether it meight use DIRAC or a very similar technology or whatever.

So it sounded more like an usual "test my software and then buy it afterwards". Obviously and intentionally.

We fairly needed some more informations (or at least some background information), rather than a pure product suggestion, if you expect your software to be a discussion object inside a development forum. :)

Damn, blew up another irony meter. That's two today! (One was at my day job.)

Give it a rest. :smack:

Point A: Limited degrees of self-promotion and advertising aren't unusual or out of line in the development forum. This was nowhere near as annoying and off-topic as, say, you and I getting into our daily bitch fights are.

Point B: Maybe you should wait for someone to actually, oh, mention money before accusing them of advertising.

Don't do it my way.
