Just been lazy here but how do i add a send effect to a midi channel.
i.e so i can add delay when required to a certain midi track?

the midi channel outputs audio, so you just drag and drop an audio effect onto one of lives return busses, set it to pre or post & then turn the little knob for amount of signal being sent from the
To be honest it's easier to just read that particular section of the manual - it explains it way better than I can, & it has pictures also, which always helps.

Select your Midi track (if your track is named "Midi 3" then click on midi 3)
Drag and drop your FX plugin from the browser on the left to the bus at the bottom. If you don't see the bus for the midi track, double click the midi track or hit the triangle in the lower right corner of the screen.
