Mooter, while we enjoyed your mp3, we need to ask you to please remove the nki link from your post as the license clearer states that the programming not be changed and redistributed. You are free to mangle the sounds for your own use, but not publicly redistribute that.
Thanks much! We're very glad you put the lib to good use.

Spe3d,
I don't know about everyone else, but we enjoyed hearing your demo - it's always fun when people find creative uses for our releases.

Cool - thank you Alan
The tone of the box - very unique, plesent and warm, sounds an exspesive box imo. certainly come in handy for adding contrast to a track.

Alan, I'm actually not sure whether you could even ask for this. Over here this wouldn't hold any legal water.Alan Lastufka wrote:Mooter, while we enjoyed your mp3, we need to ask you to please remove the nki link from your post as the license clearer states that the programming not be changed and redistributed. He's not redistributing your samples and whether he altered your programming or did it from scratch is hardly proveable at all.
In addition, I find this restriction to be a bit tough as well. After all you should rather be happy about people posting variations as it shows your patch is of use.
Best,
Sascha

Anny chance of a Reason NNXT format downlaod of this at all.
The demo sounds great and I'd love this as a soundset
for NNXT - I could make a series of tweeky combinator versions for my own use also .
So any possibility ?

I done a quick sfz - should load in the free version
right click and save as - its just the binary/text file for sfz (1k)
Removed sfz to be sent direct to Bela D
put it in the same directory as the 24 bit files from the original archive by Bela D

hey, it's similar to mine!Spe3D wrote:I done a quick sfz
strange, isn't it?
by the way Spe3D, I could be wrong because I am not at my DAW now, but do the samples play also after releasing the keys?
I want to mimic the musical box behaviour, which has no real note off
just adding loop_mode=one_shot in the <group> section (just after volume=+19) should do the trick. Could you please confirm?

Hi! Francesco I chose not to do that
. the reason is it could quickly build up and choke a cpu if a lot of notes played - but you are correct if loop one shot is added it will continue to play the note even after key off. (plus the sample ends are not the best part of the samples so it would be good to have the option not to play the entire sample in this case
What volume did you opt for in your version - and maybe two versions one like this that reacts to note duration as played - and one like yours that acts like a rolling drum - like in a music box
Best regards,
Spe3d
