 :o

Awesome CCT :) Wasn't sure if you were still working on this. Thanks so much for your efforts - for me this program will be extremely useful.

Post

Wow, CCT - welcome back!
But seriously, only do it if you really feel like it! There's many things being more important in life.
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

Yeah, great news! :)
And like JoMal wrote: Post a paypal donation link here, I'm sure the lot of us are willing to donate something for this great piece of code... Thanks, man!

cheers,
Chris
Whatever you do, don't click here!

Hey

Unfortunately there is no donation link, because only one man donated (thanx again :) ), so Vdumper is going to be commercial tool. New version will have limited options...
I am happy that external recording finally works without any problems :)

Best regards

How much will it cost, presumably? And when will it be available?

Hello

http://cct.risp.pl/vd041.rar

Limits were set up to sampling time - max hold time is 2000ms, and max release time is 500ms

I hope this version will work for You :)

Probably samples are recorded a bit quiet, i fix that soon.

If You want to use external recording, be sure that You have signal on input (if not VDumper turn to infinite loop :) ). Recording was tested only with Audigy soundcard.

Price is not known now, because not all things we want are implemented.

Best regards
CCT

Hi CCT. Just tried the release. Good news is not so many crashes anymore :) Bad news, still can't sample external synths.

I have an audiophile 2496, and no combination of ins/outs in the config menu (which btw should be labeled better than 1+2 etc) gets me any sound on when I add an input. Thus vdumper just enters a loop when I click dump.

The midi is sent fine (my synth plays the note), but it just isn't recorded or even heard by vdumper.

floyd: currently only 16bit LSB format (my Audigy have it :) ) is supported for recording, so that might be the point of problem. If you not see any on input (yellow bars) then nothing will be recorded. I will try to include more signal converter i hope that will work - i cant test it.

Yes there are no yellow bars. If you have some ideas for a signal converter I'll be happy to help you test it. Also I'd think that if you are going to sell this software you'll probably want 24-bit sampling support at least, right?
