The manual is on the installation DVD.

There should be a (full) PDF manual in the Kontakt 2 installation directory. It's like that with all NI products.

i installed the kontakt2 update from the NI website rather than the .0 version that came on my dvds with my updates from NI...could that be what happened? like i should install the older version and update and the manuals will pop up?
totc thanks for the bs comment...its nice to see that u decided to accuse me of that crap instead of reading my original post...if you got nothing to say..don't say it man...not cool at all...

It's not a bullshit comment. It's not like you installed an update and magically had kontakt on your computer...you would've had to install kontakt in it's full form first...hence you would have the manual. And if you are a registered user, why not ask NI support for the manual.JonathanDragonDJ wrote:i installed the kontakt2 update from the NI website rather than the .0 version that came on my dvds with my updates from NI...could that be what happened? like i should install the older version and update and the manuals will pop up?

When I was younger I used to be in doubt. These days I'm not so sure.

Ah... I didn't know you hadn't installed it from the DVD. Of course that's a must, the additional updaters are only good to patch the executables and DLLs, they rarely contain manuals.
