If you can't figure out how to use FL, then you should probably join the circus because you're clearly not cut out for producing music =)))

I use both SX3 & FLStudio, so i like to pretend that my opinion isn't biased at all.... =)

TBH I think the biggest problem and why so many people bash FL is the price. I think the bashers saw the price wrote it off as being junk. As it is clear that it is not junk,those people have to keep defending to themselves why they paid much more. I think that probably 75% of the attacks on FL is because of just this...they're mad at themselves for not going with it.

I think the reason people pay out on FL is because its feature set is quite limited compared to what other sequencers can do- for example FL's capabilities in working with video, integrating with Hardware, limited support for Multi-output VST's, PDC, etc. etc. etc.

This of course is irrelevant if you don't require these things, and its offset by the much cheaper price in FL.

You get what you pay for. I wanted FL for a drum sampler, and Cubase for a sequencer, and personally, i couldn't work without one or the other. And after working with both of them for years, it is pretty obvious that Cubase is the better product. Again, your millage may vary =). They're both fine products.

Oh, and i don't think many people really gives a f**k about the price, most people i know who are really critical of applications are warez users anyway.
