Morning campers!
Does anybody know if the latency of a convolution plugin depends on the wav that's loaded?
I want to use some speaker-cab impulses, but I don't want the bother of setting-up the PDC manually. If plugs don't have a fixed latency then (certainly in SX) the host can't compensate.
Anybody recomend me a convolution plug with a fixed latency?
Cheers!
Convolution plugs and latency. Dumb question, sorry.

Generally not, AFAIK. I believe its dependent on the convolution algorithm itself.
Of those I have used, SIR is fixed, and Pristine Space is fixed (but the amount of latency can be changed).
