Bloody hell, I had no idea that there was actually a name for all that stuff. Crunk, eh? Well there's a thing.

Horses for courses I suppose... not my bag, but then again I don't really have a bag, I tend to categorise all music in terms of "stuff I like" and "stuff I don't"

makes it much easier making music when yuo're not genre-tied... you end up fitting into some genre you've never heard of perfectly. Who knows, perhaps one day I too will make crunk.

Unless of course everyone keeps talking about it, in which case does it become curnk? (i hope my understanding of this advanced nomenclature is adequate)

speaking of hybrid songs (as we now seem to be) what's the opinion of "bridging the gap" by Nas?

sounds a bit clumsy to me... best hybrid style song in the charts for a while though (points for originality)

So apart from crunk and tarnce what other KVR genres should i be aware of avoiding?

I think Conan O'Brien coined the term almost 10 years ago. He wanted a universal curse word to use that would not get censored. He spelled it Krunk. I remember Ice T used it while Conan was talking to him.
