Humm... This is tricky given that being signed to a major label is soooo last century and no one in their right mind would try for it (unless they are a gambling person) or really want to be skint for a very long time.
Maybe, I'll submit the first 2 minutes of my proposed album, given I've almost finished writing it and the intro I believe is about 1 minute 54. (just need to record it then in a month).

Right, that's what I meant by all my ideas being highly sarcastic . . . it's still kind of depressing to think of doing them. I would have prefered "You Were A Pop Sensation . . . But This Song Sank Your Career" as a theme.pHz wrote:as ever everyone ... dont necessarily take it TOO literally ...

That would be some people's interpretation of getting a major record company deal...emdot_ambient wrote:I would have prefered "You Were A Pop Sensation . . . But This Song Sank Your Career" as a theme.

Or still; " You were asked to leave the music faculty (before dusk) because you wrote this song..."

A good theme perhaps...But how to choose from the wealth of material that would then be available to me???emdot_ambient wrote:Right, that's what I meant by all my ideas being highly sarcastic . . . it's still kind of depressing to think of doing them. I really am going to have to join in on this one. Perhaps I can use some of these exciting brand new bass and drum loops that are accumulating on my hard drive.
