Anything available to convert Akai samples to vst?

If it is akp format then you can use rgc audio's sfz (free) along with the free Akp2Sfz.zip (also free) utility.

If it is in another AKAI format then you can use a cheap converter like extreme sample converter to convert them to sfz and run them in sfz.
