Why don't you get in contact with www.quinnware.com.
I do not know if these guys use mySQL, but they do load and install skins using php directly from internet directly into their QCD player...

I know how to install directly from internet, what I need is a php function so that xt users can upload the file (and not just the link) on the xt resource page.

http://audioshots.com/auditorium seems to allow automated uploading of files...
I think KvR member "Spe3D" runs that site.

May I suggest Jorgen, that you provide the option to upload a screenshot, together with actual skin plus maybe some comments?. It will make the whole thing more usable..
