Sorry, I'll have to think about yours. Paulie's was a "no" brainer!AndreasE wrote:I was the first one who entered his track - where is the review?emdot_ambient wrote:Anyway, here's my first review:

Dear Paulie Phonick;
After having openned your track entry for June's KVR contest, us (meaning only the variations of me) here at FONY Records hiphopabipbop stink ink, must admit we have never heard anything like it, and cannot actually hear anything anyways as we never did have an ear for that type of track.

Paulie..
Personally I thought vurt's version from a previous competition was a better remix.

Dear peppy197
Thank you (and all variations) for interest in my track. I am hardly surprised that my track doesn't match the profile of FONY Records hiphopabipbop stink ink since it's obviously a tarnce remix and not a hiphop track. Still, I hope that you'll remember my track in case your record label decides to enter the tarnce market.
Best regards

@Glooper, @farlukar:
I should've searched the forum first, crap. Anyway I believe it hasn't been done in tarnce flavour before
Which is why vurt's version is probably better musically, but I had to go for a commercial version, according to the theme of this months contest
@vurt:
No worries, 4'33" is also the most memorable thing John Cage ever did

OK, I'm back online!!!
I've been without internet at home since the weekend, as I used up my 3G allowance! Thanks to everybody who voted for me last month. I am sooo very pleased & congrats to the winners.
For this month's theme I'm sure we can interpret it any way that suits us. For the 45 year olds amongst us who have no record label wishes, we can try for something within our own genre, like being signed for a oscar award or something similar (dream on).

& a mashup
Main Entry: mash-up
Part of Speech: noun
Definition: a digital recording that combines and synchronizes instrumental and vocal tracks from two or more songs
Example: The inevitable next phase of the mash-up craze gets a kick-start by this DJ team, which has mixed together overlapping videos by Nirvana, Eminem, Busta Rhymes, and Janet Jackson, among others.

Suggestion (1): How about a ReMix Contest for June? It's not the newest idea but could be funny. So we decide us for a song, and all of us made a Remix so we get different styles from the same song. eg. The Frog Song (UK Charts) - we could this better, or?
another suggestion (2): a short clip like an Intro (30 sec or so) with the words KVR the best Audio-Forum in the style of a jingle on the Radio!!!!! -> best jingle are implemented in the homepage of KVR
another suggestion (3): or we take a Gameplay Video/or any other Video and we make a background music for this video
another suggestion (4): a song with limitations (only for experts
) eg. a song with only 4 instruments, or only Synth1 as VST instrument should be used etc.
i hope there's somthing for you.
