Just wanted to say that gui rocks, as does Voyager :)

That gui is fantastic!
..what goes around comes around..

Post

Damn nice gui you got there :)
What i would love to have is three windows: One for oscillators and the main part at the right bottom, one with Fx, and one for the filters + Lfo´s. That would make a pretty good overview of the synth ;) + mod wheel support is also wanted if it´s ok with you arguru :D

Anyway i must admit that i really love this, once again you deliver a premium synth (keep up the good work)

Post

Nevermind the Mod Wheel support
Just found it while tweaking some sounds (Guess my eyes arent what they used to be) he-he.

About blurring the interface, in wich host?
I am running 1024x768 on a 17" FTT. Host is Orion Platinum 6

Buy a real 'display' is a bit of a knoby thing to say, imagine if someone wants to use this on a laptop???

anyway, ive taken your advice, and forgotten about it...and deleted it. Didnt even bother playing one note. Sarcasm and poor support from a dev dont do it for me, free or not.
Hey Krim why don't you use you screen at it's native resolution of 1280x1024 !!
When life seems just too crazy.... kick back & chill.

Voyager of course will have a totally unique look/feel.

...my jaw dropped when I saw that screenshot!

PLEASE make the GUI for Voyager :D :D :D

Also, I do have some ideas.

First, it's great to be able to see all 4 oscillators and all 2 filters at the same time. So how about make that always visible? All 4 oscillators kind of narrow going along the top, and the 2 filters kind of fat filling up the space on the bottom. Then the bottom section will be multi-panel - you can switch between LFO's, Effects, and Master options.

Here's a quick diagram made in MSPaint:

Obviously it's not to scale, but it's the idea of what I'm trying to get across. Anything else that I forgot would go down as another panel in the bottom section!

Some nice idea for making the knobs more compact would be good - I would love to see a pretty little number box pop up when I turn the knob, and it would also be awesome if some aspect of the knob (maybe a wide rim) would change color depending on the position of the knob, for easy reference. Oh yeah, and they probably don't all have to be knobs anymore, do they? Part of the challenge will be creating an intuitive layout for each individual OSC and such. Good luck! It's not that I don't like the current GUI, but I always am in favor of a cooler, sleeker GUI when possible :D plus I'd rather have just the OSC's and the Filters always present on screen (as shown in my diagram), since they're the most important elements.

That's a fancy GUi there. Looks like MOTUs Mach 5.

I'll look forward to your take on Voyager.

I can host the bank, if you want. Later afternoon I´ll be back from work.

or just load them to Patcharena.
