Night after night I sat down with Cakewalk, and I just wanted to jam. Sure, you can set up loops and overdub and stuff, but I had always felt something was missing. Then I tried the Live demo and a light came on. This is the host I've been waiting for. You can compose without ever having to stop the music. You can create a matrix of clips and go freeform, and you also have the traditional linear editing similar to Cakewalk. Try the demo, you'll see what I mean. It really is awesome.danyell wrote:Saw your post at Cakewalk and now here. Why the switch to Live?
I'm not real crazy about Pantheon either, I think it's mostly hype. It does have some nice settings. Just goes to show you. Glaceverb does sound very nice but it uses up a lot of CPU.danyell wrote:On a separate note, forget about the Pantheon. Some may like it but IMHO it's gotta be the least useful reverb I have ever heard. I really have tried to make it sound good. Use Glaceverb or something.
