Anyone who's even vaguely interested in Volcano should definitely check out the new updated version, 1.01.

It brings out the differences in the filter characteristics a lot more than the previous version, so it feels more like you have 5 different filter algos to work with, instead of 5 small variations on 1 algo.

And the update next month will have "dotted and triplet LFO synchronization modes, MIDI note-on triggering for EG and LFOs, and an option to link the cut-off, peak, and panning knobs for both filters" which will be nice additions - I'm loving this filter plug :)

BTW, another cool thing they're doing is offering a $40 discount on Volcano to registered users of One, so basically if you buy One first, and then buy the discounted version of Volcano, you are getting One for only $19 which is a steal!

Hi Smart, I totally agree! Both One and Volcano are a great combination and great value! I just bought both several days ago. Their products are highest of quality!

Yeah they're both excellent IMO. One is very handy - easy to use, sounds great, nice simple sound. Volcano's filters are really tasty. The new version really brings the difference out on those different filter modes which all sound great.
