Hi, I would like to know which host has the most lively user community on the web? (meaning active forums, song/project sharing areas, tutorials, etc)
For instance, currently I mostly use FL, but am rather frustrated that I cannot find good places for sharing /rating FLPs online (in the same vein as reasonstation for Reason)...
Thanks for any feedback!

Really, I would have thought there would be a huge online "sharing/rating" for FL. Generally on average(please, please excuse this) a much younger bunch of users than alot of other seq's, but therefore more likely to be active in an online community. I just can't imagine the majority of users of Logic, Pro Tools, Cubase, etc... wanting to share music just with people that use their particular host. I mean, I couldn't give a f**k if someone wrote a track I liked in Logic, FL, Reason, sampled toothpick or pure white noise. If it's good it's good. KVR is great because although there are obviously rabid fans of certain hosts, the Music Cafe is completely open to anyone. I guess as long as there's some kind of plugin used at some point

FL Studio has it all - if you want to learn more about the app, and collab with other guys on the same platform - they even have a collab program - sound exchange forum, general forum, support forum, developer forum - dedicated sample site - all of these are active. - I dont vist it much now though, as most have moved on from there, but new blood is allways entering, and you can all learn together from the ground up on the app - the more you play with FL the quicker you will find all the hidden tricks n power - plus some of its failing points - but the forums are pretty helpful
You could also vist section Z - not been there in a while myself - but a good number of reason and FL studio guys are there.
If you are a bit odd check out the cubase forums, they have forums.
I think project 5 is fast catching up in the community side of things worth checking out.
Best regards,

Depends on what you mean by "lively."
Having a lively user community is one thing. It doesn't mean much if you don't have good support from the developers.
I'm biased in that regard to Energy XT. Jorgen updates his masterpiece ***constantly***. It's truly an amazing feat.
There is ROBUST tracking of bug reports and feature requests by and from the Energy XT user community, and Jorgen acts upon it in superhuman fashion. If you haven't checked out XT for a while, you would be amazed what Jorgen has accomplished just in the last few months and he still manages to post regularly to the forum. Does the guy even sleep? I'm not kidding - I really wonder.
An awesome user community, AND an awesome developer can be found in the Energy XT forum here at good ol' KVR. Do I even have to mention the price of admission?

the most active? just take a look at how many posts there are in the different forums here. the tracktion forum outnumbers any other by far. then again, about half of those posts were probably made by trolls

cubase.net can be very lively, but I'm not sure in the way Topless means ....

Don't know for other hosts but PTLE forums Win +Mac will hit half a million posts in a near distant future....
I guess that Cubase which is even more popular must have the biggest lively online community...
