sorry for asking, but what´s that????

No problem, you couldn't have known without living in Athens. BIOS is a kind of cafe/bar/live music/performance art center [depending on the time of day or the event hosted] in Athens. There, the 'alternative/electronic/IDM' community gather and enjoy their favourite art or a drink or whatever. Anyway, by saying 'BIOS crowd' I'm referring to them, with all the positive/negative overtones that can imply. [ie. the music can be great or it can be a pain in the ass]

They 're playing in Athens tomorrow and I was thinking to check them out. In fact I like their latest "cosmic game" and like some earlier dub like tunes of them.
Experiences?

I didn't mean something specific. It's just that I thought that your music preferences were different. And I meant to write "fan" not "fun". Of course nothing's wrong with being a fan of the group or to just like 'em. CHeers

My misconception about your style was partly due to that old sig of yours (the one about atonality). This tune is great man. More interresting than the average Thievery tune and the guitar part is a killer, honestly.

I was talking about the guitar ( or guitar like) sound in the beginning. Not the sitar one. (But the sitar sound is spot on for a thievery feel. Kudos to Knagalis)

well, the funny thing is: i can't remember any guitar in that track, and as i can't listen to it right now, i'll have to guess. The main groove is built by 2 bass lines (the guitar you refer to?). Here there's no special tone, as far as i can recall.

PS: and thanks for the nice compliment about the track.

Maybe it's the second bassline (sounds like low notes of a guitar) and I think I hear something like a C-F# interval thus the whole tone feel.

BTW I think I'll go to see them tonight (hope it's not sold out). Will report tomorrow.
