Have fun I will. I just feel bad for the band that's waiting for me to comp their vocals. I'm all EZ-AG, this week at least . . .

I'm sure this is explained somewhere in this 30 page thread, but you did the violin video, right? Were you using an expression pedal as well?

Thanks again.

No expression pedal, but I was mapping the EZ-EG whammy bar to some functions via external MFX plugins. It won't help you any (with the AG) but I'll be adding that internally to the "Guitar Environment" next.

My software does do some mapping for an expression pedal, but it's not fully supported yet. Again, that'll be improved in an update.

That's great. The final frontier for me is integrating an expression pedal, connected to a separate midi keyboard, with the ez-ag, while still running everything thru the virtual midi cable. I'm well out of my depth; can figure out how to get cubase to read from any particular midi port, or from all midi ports, but haven't figured out how to get it to read from some-but-not-all.

Anyhow. Look forward to the update. I'm sure you're peppered with suggestions, but I'll throw in a couple. First, a keyboard mode that muted keys behind keys being played further up the neck -- hard for me to avoid barring behind notes in certain configurations. And, second, why not let the string control SOMETHING in keyboard mode, like pitch bend or something.

You should at least make this shareware. This is software I'd love to support. Thanks again.

Any mode designated "Fretboard" does this! It's like keyboard mode, but with highest-fret priority like guitar.

We'll figure out something. The idea is to eventually make anything mappable to anything else.

Someday I'll get off my butt and put a PayPal donation link for all my free stuff. Lazy!

2 days without news from you (from Yamaha either). Is this the "silence" before the storm ?

Nothing new from my end: were you just waiting for Marc to reply whether there's a pin-out on the board for pitch-bend on the AG? I'm interested in this myself...

Though bobby yarrow did convince me to put up a donation link! :D

Marc is on vacation in Spain.
You might need to wait a little longer.

Holly sh*t ! What a bad timing ! All of us waiting with our Yamaha around our neck, eyes on the screen and fingers on the mouse ! And good old Marc having a relaxing holliday in Spain ! Never felt so tense since Dallas with their "come and see next week..." Next time send him over to my place, I live in Spain (even better : Canarias), so we can keep in touch on a daily base. Somebody wants to hire my Yamaha for a few weeks ? Anyway, let´s hope he comes back very soon, well inspired and no hang-over ! Olé !
PS: Are you shure he didn´t say : "I´m going out to buy some tabacco." ? :hihi:

Donate, friends.

First off, it may hasten the update. More to the point, tho: it's like a flossing, a tiny thing that somehow makes you feel like you have your lands in order . . .

Currently in Sevilla and soon in Portugal.
Although I have my EZ-AG and my barebone with me, I'm not too much into programing, just some playing once in a while.
I didn't check if the AG had a connector for some extra CC's, but I´m using one of these behringer foot pedal with 2 continous controllers (pedals) and I'm really pleased with it, even took it with me on the trip ...

A +

yeapp

I finnd it a little heavy and so far I don't really use the 10 foot switches, but otherwise it's pretty good, given the price.
