I've been using a pair for the last 7 years, they sound pretty good to me. Plus, because they have both XLR and jack inputs, you can use one in a pinch as a guitar practice amp ( at low volume ), which I have done several times without harm to ears or speakers.
Coffee please, black, no sugar.

I like mine, for the money they're great. My mixes seem to travel well, and I can hear into the mix. If I had the money though, I'd be getting some PMC TB2S-A's!

I'm generally happy with mine. They're not the flattest monitors in the world, but they're good for the price.

If I was buying a pair today, I'd get 8" monitors that are a little more accurate.

I really like my MSP-5's thanks to the fact that they're not flat. They have that slight 4-5k lift that makes them nicely detailed.

I'm very happy with them overall, people often complain that they're sharp but I really can't agree. However if things have too much treble it will quickly show which is a nice thing.
