It hasn't shipped yet, so if any PoCo users here think I've just made a huge mistake, there is still time to cancel!

There is a new version of the Powercore PCI coming out very soon, with similar power to the Firewire box.
Probably a lot more pricey than the element though.

I have used it in T1/T2 - no problems ... not for me anyway!
Why ask people if you should cancel ... it stands to reason that someone will spoil your party and say something negative - I don't see why you can't get years of solid use from it - as long as pc's/Mac's have PCI slots of some description your be fine.
I used the JRR shop to buy my Virus/Sony software from - they are very cheap!

I rushed to buy it because it looks like they're phasing it out, and for USD$370 it seems worth it. In fact, for a total of 1100 I could get the upgrade and have the new card, too!
I have yet to hear anything negative about the PoCo. For $370 I could only upgrade my DAW's CPU very slightly, so this seems like a clear winner.

you could buy 3 elements
or you could buy an element and pay the upgrade fee of 600 euro and get a pci 2 as well - it does ship with an additional 5 plug-ins (character, dynamic eq, denoise, filtroid, master x3)
