Hi guys, whenever I export a song to MP3 in SOnar 4 and play it back, the song always end very abruptly. This happens even after adjusting the option for "Play Effects Tails after Stopping".

How can I get my songs to end normally without sounding chopped off at the end?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Try this: Before you export, select all, then scroll to the right until the end of your audio/midi data. Shift click in the timeline a bit further to the right, to extend the selection as far as you want.

Then export...

Or add some dummy data beyond the end of what you want to hear. Just make sure it's after the decay of any reverb/delay tails.

Use a single drum hit or whatever. If your project uses envelopes create one last node and drag that out beyond the end of the actual song data and Sonar will render up to that point. The envelope thing is what I usually end up doing then trimming the exported wave so the proper length later.

I know I have got a negative edge, that’s why I sharpen all the others a lot.

I don't know Sonar, but couldn't you render the entire project to one .wav on a spare track somewhere, and then do the MP3 conversion? If the render's working as it should, it'll end the new rendered clip at exactly where there is no more audio signal.
