Believe it or not my studio is software based. Alot of people don't realize how far software has came. Until now.
Cakewalk sonar 3 is my center piece.

No, I actually have that library. It's an old Korg TRINITY CD by Nicebytes Synthline, and it doesn't contain all the patches just a bunch of synth pads, leads, basses, maybe a guitar or two. But by no means does it have all the triton patches. There's also a Korg Karma CD in EMU format but its very similar.

Whel, you could sample a trinity perfectly,(or anny synth) and totaly automatic with Logic, and some app that I dont remember the name of..
The app samples up all the banks and every key I think, but it can just export to Logics built inn sampler. But I belive kontakt can read that sample format.
Ask some logic users..

I started out with software based recording. I tried to use hardware keyboards to seq. but i love the midi recording on my cakewalk sonar. I know i can seq. a trition on cakewalk sonar. I'll just stick with my software. I am currently working on a karma/koass pad/sampler type of synth on Reaktor. I thought it would be neat to have trtion sounds without having to buy the keyboard itself.Jaeson Merrill wrote:dang.. with all this software i would imaging you'd be able to BUY a triton hehe..biggrime at http://www.soundclick.com/bands/1/biggrime.htm wrote:Equipment used:

I thought someone used software similar to the one at this site http://www.chickensys.com/translator/documentation.html to create the halion files. They say they have a translator that can transform any sample format to any other sample format listed. One of my buddies told me about the triton for halion but i cant find it online no where. That site above is all i could find.Apparition wrote:No, I actually have that library. I got Korg Triion for Halion and i have to say I am dissappointed. The sounds are great! but no that many sounds. 52 to be exact. When I finish my beast on reaktor it will be better than the trition.

ACtually Im Wondering If I Can Even Gain Or Copy THe The Sample Data From The Tritons Internal Memory If So I Might Be Able To Use Translator To Convert The PCG KSF ANd KSC Files Into A VSTi Sample Format...But Im Not Sure If Translator Supports The Trions Files As A Source Opposed To Being Able To Convert Other Formats Into Its Format..MAYBe Someone Else COuld Help Me Figure This Out Within The NExt Couple Day And Ill Do It..Ill Continue My Research

Err, Vherbal, what you're about to do is... illegal. Just thought I'd warn you. I don't mean to sound rude, but why not sample your own sounds rather then spending all that time and work ripping Triton sounds?
