Is there any way to still get the Emu Old World Instruments soundfont. The demo sounded good. they closed down the soundfont.com website.

I have the Emu World Instruments CDROM for the Emu sampler - is that the same kinda thing? I'm guessing it could be transfered over to a soundfont?...

sfpack is just compressed sf2 files - like zip for soundfonts

get the program to unpack them here.

Yes. They used to have a soundfont site, but closed it down awhile after launcing proteus x and emulator x. I have seen the version for the sampler for sale on some sites, but nor
t the soundfont version.

Is there an app that can convert the Emu sampler version to soundfont? If so I would buy the Emu sampler version.

It has a lot of decent ethnic/asian sounds.

Thanks for pointing this out. I actually had seem this before and was hoping things had changed when I saw your post.

It requires the emulator x or proteus x in order to use it.

That's what I was going to say. :)

Most authentic stuff you'll ever find, IMO. A lot of focus on realism in the samples, too.
